Chinmoy Ghosh
Director
Talks code and customer journeys in the same breath
Chinmoy leads NELO’s brand, growth, product direction and shapes the technology and AI behind the platform. He’s the person making sure the tech actually works, the marketing actually lands, and the whole thing is genuinely useful to students.
He’s spent his career where technology, AI, education and digital marketing overlap. He started out in engineering, with a BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, which is where his habit of figuring out how things work (and how to make them work better) comes from. He then added an MBA in Marketing, so he can talk about code and customer journeys in the same breath. Since then he’s held leadership roles in technology operations, digital marketing, web development leadership, education and training, leading websites and growth and learning what it takes to get people to trust a digital product.
Education & Training is a long-standing fascination of his, and he spent many years teaching & training, helping learners and professionals communicate clearly and with confidence. It gave him a close view of how people learn, and it still shapes how he builds for students today.
Chinmoy also writes about how students really choose where to study, what UK and global policy changes mean for them, and what it takes to build AI-first EdTech that puts the student first. He’s based in London and always up for a conversation with universities, education groups and anyone working in student mobility.

Nia is the creative mind behind some of NELO’s content! She loves turning everyday experiences into fun, relatable stories that help students feel more confident about studying abroad.
From sharing useful tips and student life hacks to exploring what life in the UK is really like, Nia enjoys creating content that informs, inspires and makes people smile.
When she’s not brainstorming her next video or filming, you’ll probably find her making music, experimenting with new sounds or finding inspiration for her next creative project!
Ayben
Product & Project Manager
Never says no to a really good coffee
Ayben loves turning great ideas into something real. With over 10 years of experience across different industries and a background in Computer Engineering from Yeditepe University, she brings together technical know-how, creative thinking and a practical approach to getting things done.
She enjoys solving challenges, bringing people together and finding smarter ways to make things happen. For Ayben, every project is an opportunity to learn something new and create something meaningful.
Outside of work, you'll probably find her exploring a new destination, discovering a cosy coffee spot or planning her next adventure. She believes in working hard, enjoying life and never saying no to a really good cup of coffee!

Sourav Saha
React Developer
Sourav is one of the people behind the scenes making NELO work smoothly for students. With more than 3 years in the software industry, he enjoys turning ideas into tools that people find easy and pleasant to use. At NELO, he helps build the parts that students and the admissions team use every day, so that the journey from first interest to final application feels simple and clear.
He loves solving problems, working closely with his teammates, and making the admissions experience easier for everyone. When he’s not working, you’ll probably find him exploring new places on foot, discovering something interesting around every corner.
Dipu Paul
UI/UX Designer
Dipu is a UI/UX Designer with over 5 years of experience designing websites, mobile apps, and dashboards. At NELO, he works on designing the student portal and making the study-abroad application process simple and easy to use. He enjoys solving problems, creating clean designs, and working with the team to turn ideas into useful products.
Shafayath Jamil Rafi
Web Developer
Shafayath brings NELO’s flagship features to life, building key experiences like intelligent course search, onboarding portals, and an interactive voice AI assistant. He cares deeply about software reliability, data privacy, and seamless user experiences. Outside of web development, he loves diving into cybersecurity and DevOps, or sitting down at the piano to unwind.
Tanvir Alam Khondaker
React Developer
Tanvir works on the systems that keep NELO’s course catalogue accurate and up to date. He worked on the tools the team uses to review and publish course and scholarship information, so that students see details they can rely on, from entry requirements to intake deadlines. He has also worked on account security and the settings behind NELO’s AI features.
He likes untangling messy problems and leaving things better documented than he found them. Away from the keyboard, he’s usually tinkering with robots, most recently one with six legs.
